My son has just arrived home for Christmas. It’s his last year in college and I am soaking up every minute. I hope you too, are taking a little time to enjoy the many gifts of the season that don’t come wrapped.

Prayers for Ian Aftermath

I’ve had a crazy week with very little white space. My son came home from college on Wednesday evening because his school went online in anticipation of Hurricane Ian and I wanted to spend some time with him. Although I don’t have a post today, my thoughts and prayers are with the people of Florida who are reeling from the aftermath and for the people in South Carolina who are now in its path. I pray for protection and intervention. I pray that God will make Himself known both through the miraculous and through the simple acts of kindness of His people. Won’t you join me?

Have an awesome day!

It’s been a busy week for me with very little quiet time, so I don’t have a post. I hope to see you back here next week.  Have a wonderful weekend.

Have a Great Weekend!

Due to a short work week that was unbelievably hectic, I don’t have a post this week. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Have a Great Weekend

It’s been a busy week for me. My son moved home from college for the summer and everyone at my job has been busy preparing for graduation. I’ve been covered up with all good stuff, but covered up just the same. I didn’t have any quiet time to write a post this week. I hope you have a wonderful weekend and are able to see glimpses of God in all you do. See you back here next week.

Have an awesome day!

Pray for the Ukraine

I’ve spent a lot of time this past week, thinking about the people in the Ukraine. The population there is around 85% Christian, making it one of the most Christian countries in Europe.

I have no idea if that fact along with the fact that their president is a Jewish man who lost his family to the German Holocaust in World War II, or that Christianity has exploded there since 1991, when the Soviet Union imploded is significant.

What I do know is there’s a spiritual war going on and as people of faith, we are all called to pray hard. Let’s not forget the power that all Christians wield. Please join me in praying for the people of the Ukraine. When Christians join together in prayer, miracles happen and what looks impossible no longer is. Let’s pray without ceasing.

Have an awesome day!

Taking a Break

I’ve been in a busy season lately. I have a recent college graduate who is home at the moment. She and I have been redoing furniture. My sister is visiting for a few weeks and we are traveling. I am trying to be present in the moment these days. If Covid taught me anything it’s about the importance of relationships and especially family. I am taking a few weeks off from writing and just soaking up every single moment. I hope to meet you back here after my break.

Have an awesome day!
